Mehreen Raheel was born Raheel on 8 February 1981 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. She is the daughter of a talented TV artist and a social activist, Seemi Raheel. She studied at Lahore School of Arts & Sciences, and Lahore Grammar school. She went to London for a diploma in dancing, drama, and script writing. She got married to Atif Azhar Malik in 2009.
